Prepare and Practice!

For those of you going to Career Fair this week, make sure you prepare your quick elevator speech and practice it so you can show the companies what you’re made of.  If you need help, try asking your classmates or swing by the lounge and see if anyone isn’t busy and can listen and give you pointers.  Good Luck out there!

ASME Scholarships

The deadline to apply for ASME awarded scholarships is March 1st.  If you’re an ASME student member, and have at least a semester or two to go, check out this link and look into applying for a scholarship for next year!  It looks like they take your application and put you into the running for the scholarship that best suits you.  No needing to apply to a million scholarships to try and find the right one.  Make sure you read all of their tips and directions so you don’t miss out.  Good luck!

TREC will be here the 4th and 5th of March. If you are interested in becoming a team member, please visit this link to submit interest for participation in the competition.  Sign-ups are done on Friday, February 12th!  Once we get all submissions, we will decide on the lucky 24 who will go and compete and what team they will be on. We encourage underclassmen (Sophomores and Juniors) to sign up!
